King Seiko Vanac SLA083 Twilight Dial

King Seiko Vanac SLA083 Twilight Dial

The King Seiko Vanac SLA083 revives the bold 1972 original with a blue-violet "twilight" dial inspired by the Tokyo horizon at sunset. The angular, multi-faceted 41mm stainless steel case measures 14.3mm thick and combines brushed and polished surfaces in a bezel-less design with a distortion-free mirror finish. The horizontally striped dial features a dedicated index ring with luminous markers, gold-tone V-shaped 12 o'clock index, and matching V-shaped seconds-hand counterweight—both referencing the Vanac name. A framed date window sits at 3 o'clock, and a high box-shaped sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the face. Powered by Seiko's hand-assembled in-house Caliber 8L45 automatic movement with manual winding, 35 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, and approximately 72 hours of power reserve, regulated to +10/-5 seconds per day. The first King Seiko with a see-through sapphire caseback. The newly developed integrated stainless steel bracelet combines mirror and hairline finishing with a folding clasp. Water resistant to 100 meters.
